Hi everyone, Tomoata chutney is one of the mouthwatering items that go well with idly, dosa, chapathi and even with rice. In this post, we shall see How to prepare tomato chutney recipe for dosa?

 

Tomato Chutney Ingredients:

Cut Tomato –  5 Nos

Cut Onion big – 2 Nos

Cut green chilly – 2 Nos

Cut Garlic – 2 Tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

Red Chili Powder – 2 Tsp

Mustard seeds – 1 tsp

Jeera – 1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp

Curry Leaves – 10 to 15 leaves

sesame/cooking oil – 3 Tsp

water – as required

salt – as required

 

Preparation of Tomato chutney recipe for dosa:

Pour and heat oil in the pan.

Fry mustard, cumin seeds, jeera, and garlic.

Add chopped onion, green chilly and curry leaves.

Fry till the onion change to light brown color.

Add the cut tomato, chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.

Mix it well, and cover with the lid.

In Between open and smash the tomato well.

Cook for 5 minutes in the sim

stir it well and cook it for another 5 min in the sim.

Add water if required and Switch off the flame.

Now tasty tomato chutney is ready.
